But then, Green Knowe is like no other place on earth. There is as much magic here as there are rooms and gardens to explore, and that magic extends even to the river that flows past the manor.
While visiting Green Knowe for the summer, Ping, Ida, and Oskar find an old canoe and set out upon the water. They have no idea that they are rowing into other woods entirely--places where giants recline on the shore, and horses have wings, and a simple paddle downriver becomes a journey into a land of enchantment. This will be one summer the children will never forget!!
