Audio Pod Software provides audiobooks to library members using new and innovative concepts.
It is strongly recommended that you read the documentation.
Android Audio Pod Software
Down the Audio Pod Android apk file. Then install as per your Android device's third party application instalation instructions.
For most Android implementations you can download the apk file using the included web browser. When the file is completely downloaded it will be displayed in the downloaded files list. It can then be selected from this list which will start the installation process.
This version of the Android Audio Pod application and was compiled for Android 2.0.
Windows Audio Pod Software
Windows Vista and Windows XP
Requires Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 or greater.
See the next section.
Windows Vista Installation Kit includes Windows XP.
Installation Instructions
- Download the Archive (.zip) file containing the Installation Kit
- Open the Archive (.zip) file
- Double click on 'setup.exe' to install
- Close the Archive (.zip) file
- Install Microsoft .NET Framework ONLY if needed (see next section)
- Complete your SETUP as shown in 'Using Your First Book'
Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0
Windows Vista
The .NET Framework 3.0 is installed with Windows Vista operating systems.
The .NET Framework 3.0 is a superset of .NET Framework 2.0 version.
If you are running Windows Vista, then DO NOT install this software.
Windows XP
In most cases, you will probably already have .NET Framework 2.0 installed on your computer.
So you will need to check your installed programs to be sure.
You can get a list of your installed programs using:
Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs
Look down the list of 'Currently Installed Programs'.
If the list of programs includes:
Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 or a version greater than 2.0 then DO NOT install this software.
Get .NET Framework 2.0 from the Microsoft Web Site ONLY IF YOU NEED IT.
