These are two recordings made by the candidates in the 1908 United States Presidential election. The original recordings were made on wax cylinders that were then sent around the country so that people could hear what the candidates actually had to say on various topics. Both recordings are products of their time. One recording deals with the creation of federal bank insurance the other is on the progress made on the integration of the Negros into United States society.
